Background
Carlos specializes in geolocated neural networks, memory banks, and psychological profiling. He founded a prior venture in 2011 — scaling it to 11 countries before stepping away to work on the foundational problem of AI inference for regulated industries.

Carolina previously worked at KPMG, then at investment firms including American Investment Capital, and led compliance at FOR_ME. She has co-bootstrapped two companies with Carlos since 2016 — the rare blend of regulatory literacy and engineering fluency.

Who founded DEINO?
DEINO was founded by Carlos Matías Baglieri, the founder and architect with 15+ years of inference infrastructure, and Carolina Fogliato, who leads operations and compliance from a RegTech background. They have co-bootstrapped two companies together since 2016.
Why does the founding team pair engineering with compliance?
Audit-grade AI cannot be built by adding a compliance consultant after the engineering is done — the compliance perspective has to be encoded into the architecture from crate one. That requires founders who understand both sides, which is why DEINO pairs a deep inference-infrastructure architect with a RegTech and compliance lead.
